Rebel Territory - Falling For You
It might be getting a Valentine's Day release, but Rebel Territory's Falling For You is certainly no romantic ballad designed to woo your sweetheart. Instead, it's a frantic, passionate wall of guitar noise - a full-pelt, insistent plea for affection.
A bit like a British take on the Strokes, Falling For You feels both clinical yet gritty - big choruses pair with a live-wire energy that while sounding like it'd have been more at home in the musical climate of five years ago, marks a new-found potential for UK guitar bands to make it big again.
Having wowed the NME with their live sets, its fitting that self-same rawness filters through to their music - Falling For You is full of it, an unbridled anthem to pints-aloft rock glory.
