We're always a fan of a good mash-up, and right now we're especially liking this haunting, ethereal mix of hot new talent Beatrice Eli's The Conqueror with Drake's Underground Kings, one of the standout tracks from the rapper's recent Take Care album.
Whereas the original was underpinned by pulsating, spacious synth rhythms and a foreboding sense of menace, the Drake mash-up feels more uplifting - still that same gorgeous, Scandi-pop allure, but now wrapped around a glimmer of hope amidst tattered romance. It's a softer, more sensual take on the track, replacing ice-pick electronics for the depth of urban grooves.
