Jo Birchall - Don't Let It Go To Your Heart

The second single from Jo Birchall's debut album Something To Say makes big strides forwards. For the singer-songwriter, 2011 has been a busy year; turning on Christmas lights with the likes of Pixie Lott and Olly Murs as well as trekking up and down the country on radio tours.

Working with a collective of writers across the breadth of the album, their past credentials speaks a confident accolade of the best in radio-friendly tunes. It's feel good music to warm the heart and soul.

Don't Let It Go To Your Heart is a loud and proud guitar-driven contemporary pop-rock number, perfect for the Radio 2 playlist. It's resolutely mature, but with an inherent sense of fun to it too.

'Love can be so complicated...' Birchall croons, but for all this track's tales of bruised emotions and tangled relationships, its chief merit is its own simplicity; focusing on the charms of a good honest melody and great vocals.

Don't Let It Go To Your Heart is released on the 6th February. The album Something To Say is available on iTunes now.
