'Tis the season to be jolly and all that lark. It's all the season to give, and we love that Guillemots have got on board with a rather festive sounding remix of their track I Don't Feel Amazing. On re-working duties, the ace Friends Electric.
I saw these guys supporting OMD on tour years ago and both their own innate sense of cheery synthpop and the grandeur of their 80s forefathers is present here on this rollicking mix.
While still capturing the cosy quirk and charm of Dangerfield's voice, Friends Electric cover the track with a shimmering synth-string line - it's like a frosty coating of powdery snow over the most sumptuous of Christmas puddings.
A definite treat!
