As a pop fan, watching the video for Black Veil Brides' Fallen Angels video, I'm unerringly reminded of Girls Aloud's epic Untouchable which featured the all-conquering fivesome blasting out of space in fiery orbs to crash into the Earth and wreak all kinds of havoc. But enough of coincidental similarities...
As Black Veil Brides plough into the ruins of a shattered city, they set about a song of equally flamable, apocalyptic proportions. Anthemic to the most extreme degree and boasting a skyscraper high chorus, Fallen Angels is a call to arms, a rousing trailblazer of a song.
With ringing guitar solos and chanted vocals bursting from the song pumped full of vigor and blood, Fallen Angels is a musical child born of parenthood that just doesn't do subtlelty.
This is bold, heart on the sleeve rock - brazen and confident, through and through.
