Clicky, static-kissing electronica is the order of the day for Mr Fogg, but for all the sharpness of the beats, new single Stay Out of the Sun is predominantly an embracingly warm number – the kind of enveloping synth workout you just want to sweep around you like a snug quilted coat. From the hushed, on the edge of ecstacy vocals to the rhythmic pulse at the track’s foundations, Stay Out of the Sun strides the borderline between accessibility and keen intelligence with remarkable ease.
