Kids In Glass Houses - Diamond Days
When it came to rocking out, Kids In Glass Houses' excellent In Gold Blood was our usual album of choice for much of 2011 - and as spring of this year ushers itself in, replete with sunshine and general good cheer, the band gear up to release uplifting anthem Diamond Days.
As one of the slicker tracks on the LP, it moves away from the grittier sounds of the title track and Animals, returning to the glossy pop thrills of Dirt. With a sublime chorus that could only come from the KIGH school of hook-craftery, the single makes for a confident next step in the album's ongoing story - personally we love the band most when they're at the poppiest, so Diamond Days is perfect for us.
Diamond Days is released on the 18th March accompanied by three live tracks, and can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
