Britt Love - Losing The Faith
When we saw Britt Love at hip London venue the Hoxton Pony back in July we were very impressed by her set - lots of high-powered synth-driven dance-pop; exactly the sort of stuff we love.
It felt like the natural progression from her Mini Viva material - every bit as catchy, but with a new, sensual edge.
And the enticing grooves of Losing The Faith feel very much a part of that same camp - packed full of lovely 90s-sounding bleeps and snappy electric drum beats.
Most impressive though is that Losing The Faith feels like part of a collective. Listening to it alongside Britt's other tracks like Can't Stop Loving You, it already sounds like the beginnings of an incredible pop album.
'I want your heart, your love, and your devotion,' sings Britt on the track - a list of goals, or rather, desires. It's this that lies at the heart of Losing The Faith, and it sounds all the hotter for it.
