I'm sure you've all seen the pics of the ever-lovely Saturdays looking particularly gorgeous and summery in LA; well, they're over there recording the video for their brand new single, presumably the first from a brand new third album from the girls.
What we know about the new single so far:
It's written by Ina Wroldsen and produced by Steve Mac. There's even an entry for the song on the BMI website.
Mac tweeted a little about the track 'Just finishing @thesaturdays next single written with the brilliant @InaWroldsen. Lovin' it!!!'
'Lovin it' is always a reassuring sign. Like those McDonalds adverts. Safe to say though, Wroldsen, as a writer, is behind some of the Saturdays' biggest and best hits such as If This Is Love, Up and Higher. So the benchmark of quality for this new track is very high indeed.
There's also been a number of pictures where you can see Mollie wearing a 'Notorious' belt, something which clearly holds a key position in the video as Mollie tweeted,
'First drama of the day over - lost my belt (key item!!)...found it bottom of my suitcase back at hotel!! Oooops!!!'
Don't worry Mollie, it's happened to the best of us. Though our things usually turn up down the back of the sofa or somewhere like that.
Leading on from this belt, the Saturdays new single is apparently called Notorious and will be released on the 30th May.
I'm wondering if the song has anything to do with Duran Duran's mega-hit of the 80s, Notorious... Unlikely, i know, but it'd be pretty amazing. Anyways, apparently some of the lyrics go a little like this: 'I'm just a bad girl... I'm notorious.'
We can't wait to hear it!
