[Preview] Oh My! - Bad Date

We're all in flutter with Oh My! at the moment because yesterday they delivered their ace cover of Christmas Wrapping, and if that wasn't already enough pop to keep you in good spirits over the festive period, now they've teased their new track Bad Date with this 30 second preview.

Bad Date sounds every bit as fun, flirty and feisty as Dirty Dancer was, but with added rave-factor. Is there any more fitting kiss-off to an ex-lover than 'I can't believe I went out with a dud'? Amazing.

The full track debuts on the 26th December - enough to liven up every Boxing Day we reckon!

Oh My! - Dirty Dancer (Alvin Risk Remix)

Love Oh My? Love their track Dirty Dancer? Love hot as hell remixes? You're going to adore the Alvin Risk remix of the track then.

Packing a positively filthy bassline, the track sounds even cooler, even more fantastically bonkers - if that's at all possible.

Our favourite bits are the bleep-out moments, as if the original was full of expletives (which it isn't, but imagine if it was!)

When do you get when you combine everyone's favourite flirty new pop duo with one of the best remixers out there? Yup, that's right - it's the rave-tastic Unicorn Kid mix of Oh My!'s Dirty Dancer.

If you've never heard a Unicorn Kid mix before, basically imagine a game of 8-bit Super Mario kicking off at your local night-club. Bleepy synths ahoy as the Oh My! girls' vocals are stretched and cut and pasted all over the place, transforming their gritty, feisty anthem into a tropical-sounding bit of bonkers dance-pop awesomeness.

We love it.

How’s this for a pop feast of a line-up? Super cool new pop starlets Oh My! (their new single Dirty Dancer is brilliant) plus DJ sets from Dimitri Tikovoi and MNEK. Pretty amazing right?

We went along to one of the previous Club Oh My! nights a few months ago and the best way we can describe it is as a Fucking Good Time. Quite a few pints of cider, a disco-tastic dancefloor, and as the flyer puts it: ‘nothing but past, present and future-pop’.

Definitely not one to miss.

It's basically one of the best pop videos we've seen all year, actually, make that the last two years. Yup, it's Oh My! bursting onto the scene with their first official single release - Dirty Dancer.

In a masterclass of that old adage 'simplicity works best', the Oh My! girls Alex and Jade give us three minutes of the street-smart attitude that we love them so much for.

Bright, colourful, and packing a blinder of a dance routine, it's pretty much everything we want in a music video.

Dirty Dancer is released on the 7th November.

There's one pop chorus we can absolutely 100% guarantee will be stuck in your heard all the way till the end of the 2011, and that's Oh My's first official single release - Dirty Dancer!

With its nod to Patrick Swayze, bratty vocals and an absolutely cracking beat, we're tipping this feisty twosome for big things. Of all the new pop acts launching this year, none of them have set the blogosphere and Twitter alight quite as much as Oh My! Everyone loves them!

Dirty Dancer is released on the 7th November and the video - which the girls have filmed already - is coming your way very soon!
