Nicola Roberts and Lady Gaga - A force to be reckoned with
Has there ever been a more amazing duo? Nicola Roberts and Lady Gaga represent individually two of the most incredible people to exist in the world of pop right now, so put them together and the sheer levels of pure-awesome go practically off the scale.
Nicola excitedly tweeted this picture of her and Gaga today after filming her MTV interview with her yesterday, adding the cute message of 'It was amazing! I ♥ her x'
Adorable. Now all we need is for the two of them to recreate the Telephone video.

Nicola Roberts joins Twitter! Best news of the week!
Oh My God. Just need to catch my breath for a moment. Nicola Roberts. On Twitter. To any Girls Aloud fan, this is quite possibly the most exciting news of the year. The adorable and totally awesome singer and style-queen has finally signed up for an account on the social networking site and can be found @NicolaRoberts
Not only that, but she has a new official site too, sporting a stunning new photo of the singer. Nicola's site also sports a handy hash-tag: #beatofmydrum - backing up previous reports that her debut single will be the Diplo & Switch-produced Dance To The Beat Of My Drum.
Nicola proceeded to re-tweet Henry Holland's message "4 days to go... RT @henryholland: Check it out.... #BeatOfMyDrum http://bit.ly/nrmusic http://twitpic.com/4sehpu", suggesting that we may hear the track in four day's time! We literally cannot contain our excitement!
Beat Of My Drum (as the song now appears to be re-titled) is apparently scheduled for a June 5th release. Further rumours suggest it will be accompanied by b-side Porcelain Heart and this cover artwork:

Cheryl eyes up some hot collabs & Girls Aloud are a FIVE forever
Yup, it's time for the latest round of Girls Aloud news.
Reports today suggest that Cheryl wants to work with Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj on her next album. Let's face it, who wouldn't want to work with a trio of amazingness like those lovely ladies! These high profile collabs are apparently to help launch Cheryl in the US.
An insider revealed: "Cheryl's management want her to become the next big popstar in America and are working on securing some A-list names for the album. A Rihanna duet is a certainty and Will.I.Am is trying to convince Minaj to work on the LP too. Katy Perry has also been in talks with Cheryl about a duet, as she is a big fan."
We like to imagine will.i.am as one of those super-cool guys who's always on his phone lining up various business deals and meetings, and in this dream scenario, hooking Chezza up with the best in US female pop. There's even reports that Cheryl wants to work with Britney and Beyonce too.
Turning our attention back to Girls Aloud as a whole... this afternoon, the awesome-threesome of welovepop, supersonicpr and polydorrecords all tweeted this message:
"Time to set the record straight after another ridiculous story. Girls Aloud will always be, Sarah, Nadine, Kimberley, Cheryl and Nicola."
Which throws cold water all over Heat's super-silly story about them wanting to continue as a four-piece.

Are The Saturdays working with Xenomania on their new album?
With The Saturdays back from shooting their new video in LA, they were quick to hurry back into the studio, working on material for their new album. Una retweeted something very interesting indeed from producer Space Cowboy, who have remixed tracks for Lady Gaga and J Lo in the past:
"upp at Xeno studios listening and getting beats ready for Tha Satz sessions!"
Now, maybe this is just wishful thinking on my behalf but could 'Xeno studios' mean Xenomania?! How amazing would that be. A Saturdays song penned by those geniuses behind Girls Aloud's back catalogue would surely be a true pop masterpiece... Only time will tell.

R&B (Come On!) The Rihanna & Britney S&M collab...
I'm not going to lie, when I saw Rihanna tweet about doing a collab with Britney, I had high hopes for some kind of amazing new song. Can you imagine it, two of the most amazing forces in pop coming together to team up on some mind-blowing future-pop track....
The reality is an S&M remix, featuring Britney. Not quite what I hoped for, but accepting it as what we're going to be given, still pretty nice. At the end of the day, Britney and Rihanna in any format is Pretty Damn Awesome.
One thing I really like is Rihanna's take on it all. This whole thing was prompted by a fan-driven vote where Rihanna asked who people would like to see her collaborate with. Now, considering RiRi has over four-million followers, that's a hell of a lot of people voting. Remember she got the fans voting for the fourth single off her Loud album too. Pop, run democratically! I like it!
We'll have to wait a little longer to hear what this remix turns out like, but suffice to say, it'll add another chapter to the already significant story of S&M (what with the whole radio edit butchering censorship affair). As for Rihanna, she certainly sounds excited, tweeting about the collab: 'Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!! One of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta #EPIC.'
We're loving the use of the '#EPIC' hashtag!

Girls Aloud Forever - A tweet from Nadine to Sarah H
As a collective, Girls Aloud fans across the world went AWWWWW! <3 What could be more adorable? After what seems like uncountable millions of years, pop darling Nadine Coyle finally said a little about one of her bandmates on Twitter. Blonde bombshell/Gothic queen Sarah Harding is having her engagement party tonight and Nadine sent a little tweet to let the world know why she couldn't make it. It's like the ultimate 21st century digital RSVP.
And so, for one day perhaps, the tabloids and celeb mags will be hushed about that apparent 'rift' they seem so keen on chatting about when it comes to Girls Aloud.
And so, to our 'lovely Sarah H', have an absolutely awesome party. And to the ever-charming 'Nadineworldwide', thank you for that tweet. You've warmed the hearts of Girls Aloud fans everywhere.

Best girl-crush ever - Rihanna and Cheryl
In addition to Take That's amazing performance of Kidz, my other BRIT awards highlight was without a doubt all the hard-core fan-gurling going on between those pinnacles of popstar hotness; Cheryl and Rihanna.
When Cheryl took to the stage to present Rihanna with her award for Best International Female and declared RiRi 'her girl crush', it was seriously the most adorable thing ever. (Definitely helped by the fact Cheryl endearingly seemed to be perhaps a little tipsy as she professed her love).
The best was yet to come though as Rihanna tweeted: 'Can Cheryl Cole NOT be so yummy??? Just ONCE!!!'
Wow. Just imagine that image in your head now... Yup.
Team CheRi FTW we say.

Coming soon... Nicola Roberts, the solo album!
We've been hearing some rather exciting news on Twitter that the debut solo album from lovable pop starlet Nicola Roberts might be coming out as early as April this year and that it's already all recorded and ready to go! Could this mean that we'll be hearing the first single from Miss Roberts on the airwaves very soon indeed? We've already heard how she's been working with trendy band Metronomy on the album and judging by Girls Aloud tracks like It's Magic, Nicola's album could very well be one of the best albums of 2011. We can't wait!
