Artsy, folky fare from multi-instrumentalist duo Fossil Collective who are currently touring the UK with Ren Harvieu. With shades of Fleet Foxes to their spacious, richly textured productions, new single Let It Go also feels very much its own creature. There's a creative freedom to the flowing, pastoral melodiousness of its chorus that sings as sweetly as birdsong. The track's beautifully hand-built stop motion video is a perfect fit too and taps into the same artisan spirit that fires the duo's music. All in all, a definite new talent to keep an eye on.
Let It Go is released on the 11th June.
