Sarah Harding heads for the catwalk and the big screen!

What's the lovely Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud up to these days? Well, for starters, she'll be turning her talents to modelling for an exclusive Look magazine fashion show at the new Stratford Westfield shopping centre.

The glamorous show will take place during the East London superstore's first week of trading when it opens its doors to the public on September 17th.

The show is part of that high-point of the year - London Fashion Week; expect appearances from big name brands like Miss Selfridge, New Look and River Island.

This isn't the only exciting solo project Sarah has going at the moment though - she's also been cast in new Brit film Run For Your Life.

Appearing alongside the likes of Danny Dyer, Maureen Lipman, Ray Winstone and Denise Van Outen, Sarah plays the partner of the main character - Danny Dyer's South London taxi driver.

Judging by the cast, it sounds like it has the potential to be a future Brit-classic - one of those gritty cockney Lock, Stock styled action thrillers; the kind of film Sarah would be perfect for. Going by her roles in the likes of Bad Day and Freefall, I reckon she'll turn in a great performance again.

Sometimes, with an artist's album campaign, everything comes together so well, so brilliantly, you start to think it must be fate.

And Nicola Robert's Beat of my Drum looks to be one such case. Just look at the video teaser - tantalisingly short, it still manages to give us a real essence of just how awesome the complete thing is clearly going to be. Because Nicola Roberts is pure awesome. And that's Fact.

A dance routine to rival the famed Biology and Love Machine for sheer pop ingenuity. That super-smart sense of style Nicola has so rightly become famed for of late. The clip has it all. And she just exudes so much Fierce!

It's Nicola Roberts - Actual Nicola off of Girls Aloud - and her solo project is what pop lovers everywhere have been waiting for all their lives.

Aside from Metronomy's Joe Mount feeding us tit-bits of info about Nicola's solo project, details regarding her music have been fairly thin on the ground. This tweet by fashion stylist Joel Dash possibly tells us a little more however...

"Previewed Nicola Roberts first solo single 'Dance To The Beat of My Drum' (produced by Diplo & Switch).. New sound = MAEHJOREEE!"

All very exciting. And we love the usage of 'MAJAH', as previously employed on Twitter by Rihanna... (and others)

Diplo and Switch are also behind the new Beyonce track, which was made available on iTunes earlier today.

Sarah Harding lining up new dance collab with 'Sympho Nympho'

We've had Cheryl, Nadine and Kimberley releasing solo singles (albeit Kimba's being as a featured artist with Aggro Santos) and Nicola's album is due out shortly, but what is Sarah Harding up to these days? We've had a little taste of her music on the St. Trinian's soundtrack album and there have been rumours of her working with Roger Sanchez for a while now. But here's something else...


She's been working on a track with dance outfit Sympho Nympho. Comprised of producers Erick Morillo, Harry 'Choo Choo' Romero and Jose Nunez, the various members of the 'electro crossover band' have been tweeting about what they've been up to with the no-longer-blonde member of Girls Aloud. Exciting stuff!
