Mohombi - behind the scenes on his UK radio tour!

A good radio tour round the UK is always a sure sign of an artist really willing to put in the groundwork to ensure a dedicated fanbase, and we reckon Mohombi - the man behind insanely catchy pop tune In Your Head - had a pretty fab time rocking it out on the road, going by this behind the scenes video.

Stopping off up north he even finds time for a sneaky little acoustic performance in front of Liverpool FC's grounds - 'it's cold but we're hot!' Mohombi chuckles. Such a charmer!

Mohombi... In Your Head in every sense of the word. He's the guy who's already collab'd with Nicole Scherzinger and worked with always-awesome Lady Gaga producer RedOne, and now he's set his sights on the UK. With his debut release here set for the 5th March, it's a fair bet In Your Head is going to be a firm future No. 1.

Mohombi has rustled up this rather nifty interactive YouTube video which links through to various mixes of In Your Head.

Take Me Underground, Slow It Down or our personal favourite, Give Me A Floorfiller! - it's basically triple the amount of Mohombi for your money. And then you can go back and listen to the original again, because it's that catchy.

Oh, and anyone that defines their own sound as 'Afro-Viking' wins our vote too.

He's the guy with the name on everyone's lips right now - Mohombi. Quite literally, in everybody's head.

The up and coming star delivered the video for his new single today and if you're a fan of perky R&B pop in the vein of Akon, you'll definitely want to check it out.

Featuring Mohombi in a number of epic poses, an ice cream van and walking down the street in funky shades, the video makes for a fun accompaniment to the track - packing skyscraper high synths and a chorus as big as they come, it's not hard to imagine that In Your Head will be a positively massive hit when it's released next year.

We imagine he'll go down rather well with the ladies too. Already massively successful across Europe, UK is next on the man's hit-list, a task we reckon he'll accomplish with ease.

If you were looking to place bets on who's going to be big in 2012, Mohombi would definitely be on your shortlist.

We covered his ace Nicole Scherzinger collab Coconut Tree a few weeks ago and his new single In Your Head sounds equally promising - it's a big, epic Written In The Stars style bit of pop and packs a chorus the size of a country.

The track's video is out on Friday, but in the mean-time, he's a behind the scenes look to suitably whet your appetite.
