Kaskade feat. Skylar Grey - Room For Happiness (Fire)
We've been keeping an eye and an ear on Skylar Grey since her collabs with Diddy and Dr. Dre early last year - as far as featured artists go, there's something about Skylar's haunting, gothic-tinged vocals that properly sweeps you up in when so many other guest parts leave you disaffected. Both memorable and delicately haunting in all the right ways, new team-up with dance producers Kaskade offers an impressive new direction for Skylar - Room For Happiness casts her as a goddess-like Eurodance diva. The track throbs with the dim glow of neon caught amidst the shadowy folds of night, the draw of some distant club beat echoing out to the early hours... and we want to be there.
Room For Happiness is released on the 7th May.

Nadine Coyle - Sweetest High
A new single for a new, American album campaign - and with it, a new sound... of sorts. A hefty slice of Eurodance wouldn't perhaps be the first port of call for everyone looking to break into the States, but then again, the dance market has exploded over there in recent years - just look at what the likes of J Lo and Chris Brown are doing.
Nadine's powerhouse vocals remain largely unchanged from her Insatiable album, though perhaps this time round there's more of a raw, 'live-ness' to them. Nadine sounds less confined, more like she's actually having fun singing the track. And on a song called Sweetest High, you imagine fun would be central to that experience.
Hectic, bouncy, packing an irresistible synth riff; Sweetest High spills from the definition of summer anthem. All in all, it sounds like an intriguing move for her and we wait with baited breath to hear more from Nadine 2.0...

(Video) The Wanted - Glad You Came
What better way to show you're a cool, trendy boyband than a video for a new single where said band goes and lives it up in the clubbing capital of the world?
Yes, that's right - for The Wanted's new track Glad You Came (resists innuendo laden joke), they're going to Ibiza! (resists singing the Vengaboys song).
There's a real LADS on a night out feel here, with lots of hot girls dancing around the boys (we imagine all The Wanted fans will be massively jealous of these girls right now) and there's even lasers! Actual lasers!
In many ways, Glad You Came is a kind of male version of J Lo's On The Floor, channelling that same glorious strain of EuroDance. It's also a very natural evolution from Gold Forever and you can easily imagine the two tracks sitting side by side on the band's forthcoming second album. That said, I don't think it's quite up there with Gold Forever (still my favourite The Wanted track), but a good record nonetheless.
Glad You Came is released on the 10th July.
